Three Scopes

Structure. Charred framing, compromised roof structure and burned sheathing. Charring reduces the load carrying cross-section, so whether a member can stay is a calculation with an engineered answer, not a judgment call.

Smoke and soot. Smoke goes everywhere air goes: wall cavities, ductwork, attics and closets on the other side of the house. Soot is chemically aggressive and etches glass and corrodes metal if it sits. Odor is the underestimated part, because smoke absorbed into framing and drywall keeps returning until the affected material is sealed or removed. Ozone and fogging address surfaces, not absorbed odor.

Suppression water. Thousands of gallons saturating structure and finishes floor to floor. On many fires this exceeds the burn scope, and it has a clock on it.

Where We Fit

We do roof and structural repair, sheathing, framing repair to engineered detail, drywall, insulation, the exterior envelope and the full interior rebuild.

We coordinate rather than perform contents pack-out and cleaning, and licensed mold assessment where the water damage warrants it. Texas licenses that work for a reason.
